Really enjoy looking at your pictures and your loot. Keep them coming just goes to show that not all of the loot is in the ocean and that there is plenty to be found in the rivers and lakes. Nice job.

The money is where you have been hunting. It is a more "high end crowd", that is where you should concentrate you're time before the water level comes back up. Keep 'em coming, always great to see ya'll's stuff!

Always make a point about having a couple of safe deposit boxes that you keep your finds in! Surprising how many people I know of who were robbed.

You beat me to it David, exactly my first impression and after seeing all the loot I think I'll just double my thoughts, GREAT JOB MrChile!

GUlf Hunter:
:rage:What I've learned is that water detecting is one of the hardest and most frustrating things I've ever done:rage:

If we can master water detecting than we can master anything life throws at us!!!!!

All of these finds were in the water waist to chest deep or so
The water dosen't go down at the river -
Well maybe every two years in Jan. for a week or so for dock repairs
It's like this!
This is the first time in the water with the excal, except the one one time in my lake - which produced a 11.5gram 14k band
On every machine I've used, "I dont discrim"
:detecting:I Dig everything always :detecting:- time consuming - but I've found that persistance pays off
This is why I have so many finds - jewlery size and shape are endless

The wind played a factor this trip - but I stuck with it!!
Plus all the boats cause waves to crash against my chest
You cant see your coil head under water once you stired up the water and have to go by feel
it's if your detecting blind or in the dark
so many times I pushed the target to one side or the other
and wished I could just reach down and pick it up, but couldn't see it

I have got alot of respect for you - and all the guys!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm going back to the river in a month - temp in 100s
Going to hit the sand bars at night - No crowds:thumbup:

I need a stainless steel scoop or something that wont bend -
the clay base is that Hard

HH Mr Chile
Thanks for the advice
