Still Another New Guy

Howdy Troops,

Yep, that's right. I'm another new guy you can add to the ranks. I've been lurking and reading the posts for quite a while, and this seems to be a great group. I've a Landstar that I'll be using and just wondering what others think of them/where they fit in the product spectrum. Like everyone else when starting, I'm having a bit of difficulty in finding where to set things for the best results. Hoping to post some good results here soon...

Welcome to the Bounty Hunter forum , Glenn . Yes , this is a really good forum , you can sure learn allot . HAPPY HUNTING !

Might be helpful if you tell the forum around what big city & state you live in as soil mineralization is a huge factor in properly setting up any detector. There might even be a forum member from around your area.

I'm in Oak Harbor WA, on Whidbey Island. That's about midway between Seattle and Vancouver B.C. Summer has finally arrived here and the weather is perfect for swinging. I've made a couple or three trials out in the big elementary school play yard behind the house, and found nothing.

Thanks guys and gals.

New Guy...........hmmmmm.........I recall every person on these forums being one of those........the willingness to learn...will make you an 'Old Salt' in no time. Ex-Navy......thus the term:)

The BH Forum I think is the most enjoyable and not just because I have a BH machine. I've tried some of the others and seems ya have to be part of the "click" with the newest and best Bell and Whistle or your out so I just mostly Lurk around those areas. Around here though, most everyone seems to be friendly and casual.

Welcome to Dirt Fishing, Robert
