still able to hunt in mid Michigan

With such a mild winter here in mid Michigan the ground is still soft enough for us to hunt.

Had a couple of warmer days with a little rain and melted the snow away.
I got out Saturday for about 3 hrs and had a decent hunt.

1.60 clad ,1912 v nickel,1952 Rosie,1926 merc,1917d,1927,1941 wheat pennies.

That's a great hunt for winter. We're froze solid here in Nebraska...but, has only been down to zero or slightly below 2 times this winter. That's a good thing. Congratulations on the silver. Thanks for the picture.

Thanks Dave
Funny thing is I didn't find 1 v nickel last year. 10 buffs, and 10 war nickels but no v's. Glad to have that monkey of my back early in the year. lol
