Sticky Trigger or Software Issue?

I noticed on my last few outings that when I am pinpointing a target the V3 sometimes "sticks" in Pinpoint mode after releasing the trigger for about three seconds before returning to Search. At first I thought it was the toggle switch, but the switch itself is operating normally. It seems as if the software is causing a slight lag. If I double click the toggle it returns to Search right away.

Has anyone else experienced any type of lag while using the V3? Please don't limit your answers to pinpoint only.

(If I send it in for repair I will get the V3i upgrade. Will I still have to spend $25 shipping?)

Where is your fade rate for the pinpoint set?

I did notice it on my V3 last weekend Neil, but it only happened on trash targets that were right under the surface. I waited the extra second and it recovered.

Yes mine lags to. Sometimes I get the three bars and no sound or just sound and no bars or it freezes with tone on. Yesterday while going through some menus the tone for scrolling through the menus was sticking on and it was really lagging and froze up much like a computer that's full of spyware or doesn't have enough ram.

That is a good way to describe it.
