Sticker reliefe!!!! Have you got it too????

This is kind a odd.

The cover on the face of my Compadre had a sticker on it. One day, not long after I bought it used,
the sticker started pealing up. I thought I accidentally cought it on something. I couldn't get it to
stay down. It kept lifting up and curling on the edges. The glue just stopped sticking.

Then the stickers on the sides started doing the same thing. That kept on until the one on the right
side fell off. Then the one on the face cover hung on something and ripped right down the middle.

Well, I just pulled off the rest of the stickers except the one on the bottom which doesn't seem to
be just plastic and has the serial number on it. I put glue on it.Any body ever have this problem?

Now my little feller is naked!!!

This is three weeks of use on my little feller. Maybe I worked the stickers off it:shrug:

HH,

Dude, that is strnage! I have had corners of labels bend up and once you get dirt on them they will never stick again, but to have on simple fall off, thats just weird! Tesoro would probably send you a new set if you asked. But be sure to protect the serial number label, thats your warranty!

could be a case of sticker shock...or not
could be you have a Chinese imitation which flooded the used market...
or maybe that didn't really happen and I made it up
or could be I have no idea and never had it happen to me but now you have all kinds of room to put on cleaver little stickers that some people are so fond of sticking on everything.

Maybe it was that tornoodie that just went through...

Mine has not shown signs of even starting to peel yet but I have only got to use it a few times because of frozen ground.

Since options are open - would be a good time to take crayons and draw custom labels on the machine.
To be professional - get pics of the Compadre, print them out then scotch tape them to the machine box.
Give up!!! - cut the elastic from yer shorts, tie one end to the coil, other end to a rubber ball - presto - custom paddle ball

My little buddy is feeling a hole lot better now.

That was down right embarrasing!!!!!!!!!!!!

Badges!!!!
We don't got no badges????
Don't Need No Stinken Badges:ranting:

That's great Tabdog!

You will start a new trend in metal detectors... custom graphics.
Should probably top out at $1,500 - $2,000 after a couple years.

Lunchbox machines will make a comeback because more artwork can be done on them...
