stick on screen protector?

I don't want to mention any products name. Does anyone know if the stick on type of screen protector works if submerged in salt water? I have one that I have to cut and fit, but I am a little concerned if it will hold up when submerged.

Thank you

Are you talking like a z*&g brand one? If so I highly doubt IMHO there would ever be a problem of that thing peeling off, it is an incredible material and holds very well in all conditions I have had it in...

But, I am not a beach hunter, so I shouldn't even be answering....

Mines been on since the first month and June will be two years and I haven't had any issues been in and out of the water many times.

How come we cant mention brands of things? We mention different brands of tools, probes, phones, detectors, computers etc etc I would love to know about a good screen protector what ever brand z&g is. Im not complaining if there is rule I want to follow it but have seen this type of post before and am curious.

I believe it is because there screen cover other options out there that are sold by vendors (for other detectors). So, being that in reality findmall is a business mentioning a brand they don't sell is kind of like going into a store and advertising other brands that they don't sell. As far as the CTX goes, the last I heard there wasn't a specifically made cover for our model (anymore), so it isn't something you can just go and order from a vendor, and so we can mention the ggaz brand. Now, I suppose if we had numerous options for the CTX from these vendors the admins and mods would be stricter about us spelling things backwards or whatever other way we get our point across about what we are talking about.

I just cut a cell phone cover they work great with 2 plus years of use 100'sof hours in multiple countries. I used the factory for a template make sure it fits down in the recessed area that way it doesn't have any edge to hooked on anything :)

I cover the whole face, buttons and all..

I didn't have a screen protector that came with my CTX but had read other posts from people mentioning them. So I cut a cell phone protecter down to fit and its worked well. Would have liked to have had a custom fit one that came with my detector though.

it works fantastically. everything is covered and when you peel it off the whole screen looks brand new.the brand I mentioned seems to last forever.its not like a regular cell phone cover since it never scratches.

I have the Zagg screen protector on the screen and also over the keypad.

Cut to size and fitted. I purchased an iPad sheet.

Works great.

I take my detector underwater on beach 4 times a week, it has not peeled off.

Fantastic product.
