Found this while detecting railroad track. It's got M. C. on the top. B 33 in middle and R. R. on the bottom. Thought you might know.

Well, considering where you are, I'd say it's from the Michigan Central Railroad... How big is it? Is it a bag seal or some kind of mile marker? The letter standing for a particular line and the number the mile? Don't ave a clue :)

It is a lead seal. I have some of them. I believe that the Rail Road is Michigan Central.
 
They have been used for 100's of years. Theye were used to seal a bag, box, or package. I will see if I can find more for ya! :)
