Sterling silver ring reading....

I decided try the ring I found earlier this year from T and co. It's a sterling silver mesh ring. pretty heavy but it's reading is 44/45/46 and moves alot...but this is indoors.

Are you sure it's Sterling ?

yes, but it is mesh ..I think it prolly reads odd due to it being more like a while lot of chains...

Can I see a picture ? it's reading real low in the foil range and that's a gold !

n/t

I agree with Ken, that does seem a bit low for silver; what do those markings inside the ring say? That ring looks pretty sizeable, but it IS mesh, as you say; still, I'd expect a higher reading if it was silver. White gold? Platinum? Tungsten?

Hmmm ! Make sure you got the detector in DISC mode and not All Metal Mode and do the test again.

The small plate in the ring sure does say 925 tho !

That's a Tungsten Ring, not silver nice job on the ring !

Is it is tungsten then it must be a knockoff.
