I went to the river today and the water is up about 2-3 feet. I started out good with a few dimes and then found a frog ring and when I got home I found out it was sterling silver, 92.5 mark on inside of ring band. The wind was blowing very strong out of the North-East and the waves on the river really wore me out. The worst thing was it muddied up the water and I really stuggled with getting my scoop in the right place and I got so tired my brain shut down. I was in a small coin spill and kept wandering why I was getting a signal when I was sure I had dug the target. I hope I didn't throw any coins or jewelry away while I was in this brain fog. This was aggravated by the tons of freshwater mussels and shells in every scoop. Lo and behold I went through the scoop and found 3 quarters, a dime and 2 nickels. Then I found some more coins in this spot but the waves wore me out. My clad count was 5-quarters, 8-dimes, 3-nickels and 10-pennies. The frog ring is the 2nd -92.5 sterling ring I have found since I started and the eyes look like small jewels or diamonds, but I'm not sure.
I tried to take some photos, but my lcd screen is just showing a diagonal slice of the picture and I will try to post some tomorrow. The most embarrassing thing that happened to me was when I tried to take my chest waders off and they just wouldn't slide down and I struggled for about 5 minutes trying to figure out what was wrong with me besides the brain fog and realized at last I had my garrett finds pouch around my waist with a belt and I was really discombobulated about all this. I believe I will hit the spring tomorrow and give the river a rest. It will be too high for my 2500 by the end of this week anyway.
I sure need prayer. HH.
