Sterling Espo HELP?

Hi everyone,

Went out to a lake the other day and found a really unique band and inside it was labeled "Sterling Espo" and nothing else. Does anybody know what this means? It is sterling silver or something else. Alos found a Mercury dime as well. What is this? Still trying to identify Sterling Espo.

Seems to be the maker of the ring.. I googled sterling expo and lots of antique rings came up.

I Googled sterling espo and got several references. This link was one of them. Go to it and then do an "Edit" and a "Find" and type in espo. You will see the part that refers to it.
