Finds are from the past 2 weeks; a few short area hunts including a morning hunt in a Black Hills Area of SD city park during a vacation last week and a hunt today until 3 pm. Today was another 9 silver day.
Both rings were found fairly close to home on short hunts. The larger religious medal and 3 silver coins, a couple Jefferson nickels and Wheat pennies were found in the Black Hills area city park morning hunt.

The 15 silver coins are back to 1916 (No D mint marks on the 1916 merc)
Indian head pennies are 1865, 1883, 1901, 1901, 1907.
Nickels are 1907, 1914 and 40s-50s Jefferson
24 Wheat pennies are back to 1912.

The tokens are a 1950s Kelloggs Junior Admakers Guild Token, A Marshall-Wells spinner token ; company went out of business by 1958, And 2 merchant tokens.
Also pulled was a very deep intact Palmer Glass Jar.

Thunder coils was used for these hunts.

Hey F.P.D.,

Great great finds keep em coming

Wow! Your tokens are awesome and that jar is especially nice. Very nice rings as well. TWO nine silver days?! I am starting to feel like a slacker! haha

Nice finds whats your Etrac pattern your using?

Straight iron mask is my pattern ; blocked on the 24 ferrous line. That is what I have used for years.
At that setting I don't have a big problem with iron falsing. Most of the nails I do end up chasing are the bent ones that tend to generate more of a halo in the ground and start
to sound more like a deep coin.
