Step Aside....Here I Come!

Although I live less than an hour away from the shore, I have spent the last 10 years inland digging the old stuff. I always said I would never be a beach hunter, but with the price of precious metals where they are, I decided to take a break from the ticks, snakes, poison ivy, thorns and chiggers for a while.

Earlier this week I picked up an Excalibur 1000. It is in great shape and I tried it out in the yard today. Being a V3i user, it is going to be an adjustment getting used to the tones of the Excal, but after a little while I seemed to be getting the hang of it.

I am looking forward to meeting you guys from LBI down to Cape May and beyond!

Good luck Neil .I like the old stuff but when the dirt and sites dry up i head for the beach.
The best time on the beach for me is when the suns coming up or going down .
Even if i don't find much it is peaceful.

Good luck Neil, if I had a beach nearby, I would be there too.
