steelheadfever did you get a chance to try your new coil?

I have my new 10" DD Excelerator coil on my MXT and it feels well balanced and I took it out in my yard to test is with some coins and its right on with the VDIs, but as far a getting out in the field it is to windy and cold. The weather just won't cooperate and its not in the cards for a few more days. HH Dennis in Idaho

Hey Dennis,
Let me know when and where you'll be trying your new coil at, I would like to check it out.

Richard

Send me a pm with your number and I will try to contact you when I take it out. It just depends on this crazy weather and when we can get a decent day to go out. HH Dennis in Idaho

Dennis I am also interested in the 10" dd excelerator coil. Please let us know how it does for depth, better or same as 6x10 dd? Thanks in advance!

You might want to contact rcasio44 and ohio fred as they have already done field reports etc. on the 10" DD Excelerator. I will let you all know how it works out for me thought, but Rob and Ohio Fred are pretty much up to speed on the pro's and con's of the coil already. HH Dennis in Idaho

thanks a lot guys!

Here's a field test I wrote last year. I didn't hunt up the pictures of the coins that I mention in the report. I now use the 10" most of the time and 6" in the trash. I've also got two coils I don't really need a 5" and 8". The 5" is one great coil ask Monte and Gila Marc. The 8" is deeper than the 6x10 and a least as deep as the 9.5 only in a smaller package.

Thanks for the report Rob. That is exactly the sort of information that I was looking for! I will be ordering one soon.
