Steel bottle caps? What steel bottle caps?

I didn't hear any steel bottle caps. :hot:

Got to use my X-t70/stock coil for several hours today. Does pretty good with that 9" coil. Nothing really deep, probably deepest coin I dug was around 6".

I really found it enjoyable to use in my bottle cap infestations. Notching 28,30, & 32 took care of most of them, and adding 34 fixed the remaining ones. In the highest trash areas, I rejected every thing from 34 down and was still able to get the high coins and didn't dig a single cap. Didn't even hear them. That's what I'm talking about!!!!! :hot: :hot: :hot:

I auto ground balanced, auto noise cancelled, kept sensitivity down to around 19 in the trash. 25 in the better places. Ground balanced at 8-10. One park let it GB at 18.

Seemed to me that it doesn't average close targets. From what I can tell, the higher conductive target wins out when two targets are close together. A dime will mask a zinc. A zinc will mask a nickel. A copper penny will mask a dime. Still learning and have less than 6 hours in the field with it so far, but that was what was going on today.

Loved it in my cap sites. Don't know yet if it will be able to touch the depth of my CS, but I enjoyed using it in my modern trashed modern parks.

at least 10 hours or more.......Sounds like it is easy to operate ....I will post after giving it a long deserved trial....
I plan on making the :minelab: XT-70 my main machine if it does well, but will keep my :compass: CS atleast for a back-up FUN HUNTER....
