Stealing wishes . . .?

Hi All,
I have been wanting to water hunt a part of the river that was used for wagon and cattle crossings from the mid to late 1800's. In early 1900's a bridge was installed. It occurs to me that folks may have thrown coins into the river making wishes. Assuming I find enough coinage to think that were true, do I continue or stop? That scene from Goonies is making me wonder . . .

I say.... go for it

They are just coins in the water at this point so why not recover some history.

Yeah, go for it!

I'm sure whatever Mary Ellen wished for back then, like a new bonnet or butterchurn is well beyond the statute of Limitations regarding the Cosmos...
I'm sure JohnBoy got his adz, along with a new harness with crotal bells for O'l Dobbin!...

What would a person from that time era wish for? Makes a guy wonder!

Dont worry about the Goonies and go get those coins! If you find one of those pieces of gold like out of POC, then you may want to throw it back of course! You cant have a bunch of skeleton Pirates storming your house of an evening, what would the neighbors think!
