STD vs PRO Mode on the AT Pro Detector

Would someone please tell me the difference between the STD Mode and the PRO Mode? When is it best to use the STD Mode? The PRO Mode? Thanks for your time and input.

Standard mode: It is pretty much like the ACE Series. It has the bell tone, notching etc. All the weak signals are amplified so that they all have the same tone strength. The tones are much more mono.

AT Series: Deeper signals are softer tone compared to a shallow signal which is loud. Tones have a lot of variances, you can easily find a coin next to a piece of iron because of a mixed high and low tone. .

The Pro mode allows the user much much more, along with the ability to use you ears for target depth and conductivity. No need to look at the screen too often.

I have switched into STD mode to double check deep signals, because as John stated, the weak signals are amplified...
