Stavr EVROEXCAVATOR-2 v.22 Question

I am considering purchasing a new stavr EVROEXCAVATOR-2 v.22. I see by the pictures it appears that a handle would be secured by a bolt or a screw.

Is the pre-drilled hole in the scoop for a wood screw or does it go all the way through both sides and use a Bolt with lock washer and nut (I can not determine from the pictures)?
Does the screw or Bolt/Lock Washer/Nut come with the scoop?

Thanks in advance for any clarification provided.

I don't know about the Stavr, but my T-Rex has only a single hole and I use a SS wood screw and it works very well.

The screw goes all the way through. Threaded on both sides which keeps it in place. Its also designed so that the screw can't ram into your leg in the surf. Its a good scoop

By far the lightest, strongest, best scoop I have ever owned. I use about a 2 foot section of a hollow pole saw with a hollowed out dowel of about 12 inches inside to provide strength. I then use a pvc pipe as the handle. I'll get you a pic when I get home. Light as a feather and strong to boot.

It does go thru at a slanted angle. However, if you intend on using a fiberglass handle........ like a HOE handle you might want to modify it like i did my M9. All the pulling and twisting quickly splits the fiberglass and the handle pulls out.

flbeachhunter.
the screw passes through, having two points of support.
the nut is not necessary, the thread is cut in the pipe wall.
