State park boundries?

Mik

New member
I live near Saddleback state park California. the park is roughly 3000 acres, and the park states that you cannot remove historical items from the area. I also understand that you can end up in jail for bringing a metal detector anywhere near the site. So how do you find out what the boundries are of the park? Google maps show a tag for the park but there is no information as far as where the boundries are. I would like to explore the area with my detector for meteors and gold but afraid i'll wander to close and end up in the pokey :(

I would ask the park ranger.
