Yup ! Here is what was the sight once i got out of the house today. We had several inches of snow. Some people are happy... i'm not! I think i can pretty well live without the white stuff. I took a walk last night with my kid while staying at my father's house and it was incredibly warm and no traces of snow... too bad. But that wouldn't stop me or Luke from detecting !

Okay since roads were slippery, we decided to travel close by and went to the national park. A car ran out of the road right in front of us... no harm.. damn we didn't took a picture. Here is the view arriving at the park.

We got out of the car, me and my son went to check out the beach... now where is it? oh yeah... we're standing on it !

So Luke... how's the water ? Cold as usual ! Fortunatly i took the time this week to fix up my leaky gloves and they were fine...except for residual humidity. The bad news were my boots...still very wet inside. :) Brrr

Those wet boot turned out to be today's problem. I could only hunt for an hour at the most. Toe nails weren't confortable. Too bad, there were many signals... 99% being pull tabs unfortunatly. Water level must be a good 3 or 4 feet higher than summer time !!! That ment that i was detecting the usual water'S edge while being waist deep in the water!

Anyway... here are today's little finds for me... a loony, dime, pennies and a small silver pendant. I'm happy about that pendant. That mean's the detector pro can sniff small sivel even 5 or 6 inches deep in the sandy bottom. I dont know about the bullet... pretty big... cal .44 ? very heavy any way !

On the way back home, we stopped at the supply store where i got water insulator... will try to fix up the wadders and we'll probably return in the water in a day or two.

I still have to send it... always a hard decision to part with it...but goota face the facts... it need tender loving care from Tesoro. Having know in advance the water detecting season would be prolongated so mutch... i'd sent it faster and might had it back now. :(
