Starting to get good results with the Se pro

Elton

New member
With Bryce's patience and Help , and his posts. I have, after a long time began to understand the Se pro.

Slow is the key in my dirt. Listen for the tones, and not so much the Id's.

Two Silvers, 13 Wheat cents from two different areas." using the techniques", and settings Bryce taught me.

These were hunted, and pounded areas too. ....... The Se pro is a remarkable detector if you work with it, and not against it..

The SE is one of the best Elton, glad to hear that things are starting to come around for you.

If you ignore the numbers on deeper targets and go by those sweet tones only Minlabs are capable of you will be pulling a lot more oldies in the near future I predict. Then start to use the cursor for added info and you will be on fire Sir :hot:

You are spot on about going slow .. I have to occasionally remind myself that I don't need to cover the whole site in one hunt. The Explorer is tops .... :detecting:

Thanks Larry............ Just has to stop using it like my other detectors. LOL

Thanks Bart

McDave it took this long time hunter a while to truly understand that.

Congrats on the great finds Elton :beers: You seem proficient with other detectors so I'm guessing you will excel with the SE.

Im STOKED for you:clapping:

I knew it would click for you one of these days because you are very persistent...and I knew once it did...you would catch fire:beers:

Go SLOOOW...listen for the sweet tones...have confidence that it WILL let that same sweet tone break through a null...and the rest will happen on it's own.

YOU did all the work my friend. The Explorers are second to NONE on deep turf silver, injuns, and wheaties.

YOU worked hard and it's now gonna' pay off.

Thanks for the kind words brother...and if I've helped you in any way over the years...you're more than welcome.

Once Bryce got it through my head I couldn't do that, and I actually made the effort to hunt like I should I have seen a big difference in finds.

Congratulations on getting the hang of the se explorer. I too completely go by the tones I hear. A rewarding detector if taken slowly.

Hi Elton. Glad to hear you are getting the hang of it. I am getting a little better myself and it just took time. I have also had the advantage of hunting with Bryce quite often and have realized how invaluable that has been. I also learned you can not go too slow for him..lol.

Glad to hear your doing well with the Explorer..It seems like one day it just starts to click, and you hear things you didn't notice before...
