Starting the New Year Right!! 2 Silvers!!

Got out to a new park which is really near a beach. I found two rough looking silvers ( 44D Quarter and S war nickel). The nickel is pretty crusty but I got enough of it off to see an S above the dome on the reverse. Quarter is in good shape but is discolored and baking powder wouldnt touch it. LOL!

Also found three equally rough looking wheaties from the 40-50s and .35 in clad.


EDIT: I knew to look for the mint mark above Monticello because it hit at 12.40 on the CTX.

What a nice way to start the year, heck the first day of the year to boot!! Congrats!! I got about a half hour in as the sun was setting, all I found was a bent roofing nail and a few clad pennies.
