Started my own detector manufacturing plant!

...but production numbers are low, I am only making one! :bouncy:

My little girl (just turned 2), really loves everything about detectors. She amazes me with how much stuff she has picked up from me, detector lingo, swinging the coil, her fondness of coins. She is a bit too young to get a real detector at this point, but she asks me for one every day almost. I had the day off today, so I made her a little detector of her own. When I brought it home and gave it to her she was pretty excited, and instantly wanted to look for coins. Anyway I thought it was a fun way to get my mind off the cabin fever, and make her day!

That is some sweet pictures and I can see it already (,Little Johnny cache wanting to know what Daddy found on his hunt today.) That is so cool . I reckon Cabin fever has its advantages:thumbup:

Man what a great Dad! I can see you took some time getting creative on that. Awesome stuff! She is a lucky little girl. Why not get her an ACE 150?

Dude, you should mass-produce those. I would buy a couple for my 4 and 6 year old. They'd love it..

now if ya don't mind holes in your rugs then get her a little digger. it's going to be," what did daddy's girl find today?"
great pics. thanks for sharing.

HH to both of you. :twodetecting:

Thats about the coolest thing! You are one great Dad, she will remember a lot from you for the rest of her life...Teaching her to be observant to her surroundings will pay off, the magic and mystery of hidden treasure will give her an appreciation for adventure, research, and actually living a great life with an outdoor hobby..not to mention Daddy is capable of making things for her..thanks for the post, inspirational!

had a friend in my teens whose dad made him a working replica of a 50 cal. machine gun w/ ammo. all out of wood. sure wish i'd payed attention in woodshop.
you did very good.

Now that is great! A lot of Kid's aren't as lucky as yours. That will make a real difference in her life that she has a Daddy that loves her that much. This world would be a much better place if all Parents showed love and interest in their Kid's like that. Very Cool!
