Hello All,
Started a well needed mini vacation today and what a better way to start then with an early morning hunt.Told the wife and grand kids I would take them camping this weekend and I would leave my detector at home so they had me all to them self's. So got up early and headed to one of my lucky spots. Hunted for about 45 min, before turning up a 1949 rosie. About 10 mins later a wheat. i headed on all the time thinking I should head home and get the lawn mowed well we know what won out about 45 mins later I get a huge sound and all the time I'm thinking beer can top it was that strong of sound. I start the dig and pull the plug and bingo what a sight
a 1943 walking liberty half I put it in my pouch wave the detector over the hole again and another sound chimes in pull a little dirt away and yes another 1943 walking liberty half, put it in the pouch wave the detector over the hole only to pull 2 more wheat's and a 41 Canada penny. Good way to start a vacation.

Hey Eddie
the second post is just the back of the half so just one guy. And Mike tell you what I quit smoking 10 years ago and if my hunting buddy was there that still smokes I would have hit him up for one. Could not believe what I was seeing and will never see it again I'm sure, What I can't understand how you don't know you drooped two of them and second how did someone not see two of them on the ground. Still a find of a life time for me.
