Standing Quarter and something from yesterday

Ohio bud

New member
Went back to a 1840 house where I just can't find anything old. Got 6 mercs during the summer. Today I got the Quarter and the Silver spoon end, I think. Plus 24 Wheats.
The coin marked "20" I got yesterday and didn't know what it was. Also the tag.

Pretty amazing finds! Where in Ohio are you? Maybe we should hook up for a hunt sometime if your not too far away

I am in the Cleveland area. Anytime you can come up, let me know. Of Course I don't always do so well. There are some really old parks around here, but they have been hunted to death. Funny though, you can almost always go back and find more silver.

Great finds! I love those Standing Liberty Quarters! I would like to know what the other coin is too. Congrats!

Congratulations on the finds Bud! I'm really entrigued by the pendant! Great looking finds, thanks for the pictures.

It is from Switzerland. Value from $3 to $13. I thought is was a 20 cent silver at first. I looked it up in the coin book and the 20 cent is a seated coin. I have never seen one before as they are quite rare.

Ha ha - you and your sarcasm - really excellent finds. I did a little research looks like it's a Swiss coin. -

Betty,
Thanks for looking this up for me. Guess I will have to go to work tomorrow instead of selling this and retiring.
