Standing liberty Mercury & Indian A Good Mix!

Got out today for a few hours before the heat got to bad and found some great stuff. Finds included 1918 standing liberty quarter- 1919 mercury dime- 1899 indian head-franklin pierce token that was beat up pretty bad-A strange looking little ring check out the photo of the design on the front-10 wheat pennies with one 1914-6 quarters-5 dimes- 2 nickles 1 broken lead toy figurine 12 memorial pennies-1 older toy car- and other odds and ins. I will have to go back to this yard I only hunted about half of it before the heat got to bad!

That was a great hunt! How long have you been using the MXT? Seems recently you said you just got yours. I have been using mine for about 2 years and have only found 1 silver quarter, a washington. But I found lots of other silver stuff, just seem to be a little short on silver quarters.

I have had the mxt a couple weeks shy of two months and have found 2 silver halves 3 silver quarters several silver dimes and 3 silver rings but no gold yet. The standing liberty quarter rang in strong on the mxt at about 6 inches this morning. It has been to hot or the ground has been to dry the last 3 weeks to detect as much as I did last month or I would have been out finding more:) I spend several hours a week swinging the machine I have detected with whites machines for over 30 years now.

Great finds. I love seeing those older coins coming out from their hiding. The Indian cents are one of my faves. Love the spoon too! Do you think it's a child's spoon? Thanks for sharing and HH, Nancy

Thanks the spoon is regular spoon just put the ring I found on the end so you could see the design on the front.
