Standard & Goular button time period?

Hello,

Found a button today on my hunt. It is stamped Standard + Goular on the back of the button. Nothing to write home about on the front - its just flat and plain. I did a google search but came up empty handed as to the time period the button was made. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.
 
After looking again at the button I think it is the letter C not G Coular & Standard
