Standard Audio Tones ?

a.c.t.i.v.8

New member
Is there any where that tells us what the standard audio tones are ? What I mean here is, what say C&J Audio is set up as ?? I can see we can have either shifted or custom set up's but would like to know how the standard is set up ??

Dave

There are 191 VDIs, each can be assigned a tone. The 'standard' tone setup is to start with tone 65 at VDI=-95 and increment the tone with each VDI up to tone 255 at VDI=+95. But who cares. Set up the tones you like and then use the common program so all your programs are the same. Rob

Thanks Rob but that is what I have done with the COMMON program. So am I correct in thinking that from -95 set at 65 every VDI number after goes up 1 ?? Does sound right Rob....

I believe in Tone ID Mode-Custom........it shows you what each VDI # is assigned what audio frequency. I don't know right off hand if it is a single Hertz increment as the scale increases, but I think it is close if not. That is also where you can assign what tones you desire for certain VDI's or blocks of VDI's.
