St Louis Road Trip, 5 SILVER Day and a Beautiful SLQ

Hi all, a Detecting Club I'm in here in Oklahoma made a road trip to St Louis this weekend, and what a trip. The Parks to the Historical Architecture of the homes left us in awe, everything was so Beautiful, and OLD! Most Parks were so well manicured, and most areas we hunted looked like something out of a Home & Garden Magazine.....and the Homes? Well, just plain breathtaking to say the least.

Even though everyone didn't score, a few of us did. I had a great time on our Road trip and after a dismal Friday Hunt with nothing but 4 wheat's to show for my effort, Saturday came up Big! I nailed down 5 Silver with 4 Dimes (3 Mercs), 2 Wheat's and a Beautiful 1920 "D" SLQ about 8 1/2 inches deep. The trip was a great one and after a day of digging tons of deep clad and 4 Wheat's we finally hit a Park where I was able to get to work with my Etrac .

Here are a couple of pictures of my finds, and to all of those that made the trip... had an awesome time guys and it was awesome getting to hunt & hang with ya, Thanks for looking, DirtDiga...aka, looknforgold

My thoughts exactly. My first Stander was a '20 d....in near smooth shape. Congratulations on the finds for the trip and thanks for the pictures.

Thanks all.... She is a pretty nice looking coin. the whole trip was such an awesome deal, and that SLQ just made it even better:)

I made the St. Louis trip with DirtDiga/looknforgold, the guy is a hunting machine. The pics don't do the coin justice, it is a beauty.

Congrats on the best find of the trip, you earned it. Thanks for the good times.
