Squirrel..........

Kelley (Texas)

New member
These pictures were taken with a Canon SX10is Bridge Camera. This squirrel lives in the large Live Oak Tree in our back yard and we feed him corn from time to time. Kelley (Texas) :)

Great detail. Were you using the manual or auto function?

and I usually use Auto Mode when using it. Once in a while I will use it in Manual Mode. For more series photography, I use my Sony NEX-6 camera with mostly prime lenses, often with old vintage lenses like the Minolta MC/MD series, and on occasion an old Sigma or Tokina lens.

I do not use the Canon SX10is Bridge Camera very much anymore, but it is a special fun camera for me, lots of memories using it in the past. Kelley (Texas) :)

This late in the Winter, we have all our squirrels named...'little white ears', 'big red', and 'blackboy'...We have all three color phases of 'Gray Squirrels' coming in at once for corn and sunflower seeds here in West Michigan...Wife really likes watching them, and I dont mind either..a guy never knows when he might need a nice cornfed squirrel..nice pic there Kelley!
Mud.

They are a fun camera. Isn't it wonderful to have such fond memories! That's one thing that can't be taken away from us. Well, until oldtimers sets in. :surrender:

It's been a long time since I've ate squirrel. I do remember cooking it and with a big batch of biscuits and can't forget the gravy too! I miss that.
