squeaky upper rod connections

yeah you were on the money as always as you had mentioned the squeaky connections to me earlier thanks Monte , will do :thumbup:
 
Another fix for the "squeaky" problem is to take out the upper rod and put a couple of turns of teflon tape around the end of it. It won't squeak any longer and dirt can not stick to it like it could if using grease. Love them Tesoro's but that squeak can drive a man to drink. Steve.

Yes the tape that plumbers use on the threads of pipes, sorry I should of been more informative in my earlier post. Steve.
 
thanks SkiWhiz , I had try'd electrical tape but its a bit thick and doesnt last but Teflon thats a great idea :thumbup:

Teflon won't leave any residue like electrical tape can. Steve.
