Last Sunday I detected a 19th c house being refurbished and found 3 His and a silver ring. Much of the ground area had been filled prob 20-30 years ago.
I went back this Sunday for a couple hours and managed to squeeze out another IH ( 1889 ) and a two-piece brass Federal type button. Any info on button would be appreciated.
