Spring has sprung!

The ground has finally started thawing in Eastern Nebraska. Got out today for a 2 hour hunt in a very old park about an hour west. Went low and slow with the SE Pro. First diggable target registered 10-24, 8-25 at 6 " and pulled out a 1903 Indian Head. Second target was a wheat and the last good one today gave me a 2-28, 3-28 at 5". It was a 1935 Merc. 2 Indians on year and 2 silver. At about 6 1/2 inches the ground is still froze but supposed to be in 50's and 60's through weekend so that will take care of itself. Nice to get the hands in the dirt again.

Mother nature just gave us another spankin here in ohio,,,,bout to go off the deep end living vicariously through the forums. My se has never had this much down time...good luck.

Good hunt Pastor Bob. blee is right on, we got slammed again yesterday but it's supposed to melt out starting tomorrow. I hope so. I can't wait to get out again and dig it.

Bob...It is thawing here in n.e.Iowa. I have to get a CAT scan and MRI on the 17th and radiation on the 25th. A couple of weeks later I hope I can get out a couple of hours a day. I want to hunt a lot of private ground that I hunted with my Eagle spectrum. I am thinking there may be coins left for the SE to find!
