The ground has finally started thawing in Eastern Nebraska. Got out today for a 2 hour hunt in a very old park about an hour west. Went low and slow with the SE Pro. First diggable target registered 10-24, 8-25 at 6 " and pulled out a 1903 Indian Head. Second target was a wheat and the last good one today gave me a 2-28, 3-28 at 5". It was a 1935 Merc. 2 Indians on year and 2 silver. At about 6 1/2 inches the ground is still froze but supposed to be in 50's and 60's through weekend so that will take care of itself. Nice to get the hands in the dirt again.
