SPRING BREAK!

Started it off right. Went ice fishing in the strong wind and temp. in the teens and caught two perch in an hour and a half. Now that is living! It was the first time I got out this year as my auger is at my mom's and haven't been home to see her in 3 mos. Also no time. I met some guys leaving for the day and they gave me their spot, complete with two holes pre-drilled. Right now I'm going on 3 hours sleep in 2.5 days, but life is good. My school work is done for a few days, I went fishing, going to see my wife tomorrow, and will see my mom, dad, bro. and little nephew next week and also am going to try the X5 out for the first time.

Have a good one!

Even better fresh from the ice and real easy to fillet with a nice Rapala fillet knife. I only caught two before I lost my trsty lure. I prbaly hooked part of a Rev. War treasure as the thing I hooked was moving slowly as I pulled it up until the line broke. I was fishing near Valcour island on Lake Champlain and all sorts of Rev. War items have been pulled off the bottom. I met a guy leaving and gave him the perch so it worked for me. Two perch aren't really much of a meal and he had a full 5 gallon bucket from the morning run.
