Spring Break '08 weekend finds.

Heres some of our finds from this weekend.
No gold, both rings have no markings but still better than nothing.

The only bummer was how much the kids trashed the beach, the amount of cans and water bottle on the beach was incredible on Friday, not to mention all the clothes and towels left behind. But, thats also a sign that things are picking up (you smell the cocoa butter).

We did dig up a good $20 worth of coins over the weekend.

Ran into some tourist hunters from Delaware, Michigan, Wisconsin plus a few from the area.

Nice

Nice loot from the Digger team, it is a shame the trash has to come with the treasure. What I don't understand is there will be a trash can 10ft. from where the beer cans are buried, that is just plain lazy. Have you and Patty been up on the North end of the beach or just around the Pier area ? HH

heard there were plenty of hunters up that way already.

But, not many doing the waters. Tourist hunters working the sands with Bounty hunters and a collinder and a trowel.

You're doing much better than I am in Wisconsin. 11 inches of snow on the ground, with more tonight. Then as soon as the snow and frost melt, I'll be in business. See you on May3. Best f luck, but leave a little behind.

Nice finds gold-digger, congrats on the rings and clad haul. Glad to hear things are picking up somewhat, too bad the beaches get trashed like that.
