The gold bug pro is itching to get out. The local sledding hill has been heavily used; maybe some jewelry. Can't wait to hit my two parks and search some areas where I haven't tried yet. Been doing this since I was 13. Now at 54 I still enjoy it. Not many people understand this hobby. I have tried to get my wife to join me but no luck. She just says "Beep Beep Beep Beep" to me as I walk out the door. Yeah, ok, whatever. I need my peace and quiet and hours of mind candy. My first wife left me and took everything I had except for my basic self. My first treasure chest was left behind which I found out my children spent at the local convenience store in pure silver coins. Oh well, we must carry on and find more stuff. I feel compelled to do so. I do have a grandson now who maybe I can corrupt with a metal detector. I think my daughter will approve though:)

Life story of most metal detectorists,
can't wait for some sun and dry ground.
