Went into the inland iron trash again yesterday. Theres so much scrap in here in knee deep water, the muck has a dark rusty tone to it. I still am amazed how the Pro can pull a good signal through it. Not kidding, running iron audio off. OK so I've picked this place over pretty good, and it has taught me a lot about the Pro and what settings to use etc...going slow with low sens. iron off. disc 40 those are my general settings, but the language of the Pro, the size and sound of the pings, those subtle lessons learned through practice in a specific area such as this that would drive anybody else crazy is what I'm learning still.

Digging up coins along with the nails/big pieces of iron. Thought to myself, a guy could easily be called a liar telling people about this. You have to see it to believe it... Got three scoops that came up with multiple coins in them... Spoon used to be plated, ring is heavy and sounded like gold but is not...looks like copper or something but did not sound like copper. today I think today I'll hunt the dry someplace...dont know yet....too dark to see if the surf is up.
Mud .

I must agree with you Mud, the A T Pro is something special in heavy trash. Glad to see you are still able to REALISTICALLY :)rofl:) hunt. Hope you can do it all winter long. HH jim tn

Nice to see you're still getting out, Mud. Yep, the folks that only want to talk raw depth aren't 'getting' that there are lots of good targets to be had amongst the crud, and the AT's are the right tool for that job! :twodetecting:

It's great when we get really tight with a machine. The AT was a heck of a lot easier for me to learn than my Tejon....... But I still have more to learn with the ATP. Nice scoops bud.

Fongu, thats some sort of cast lead fishing weight..Robert2300, yeah, I'm pretty sure this place caught on fire...some of the finds are pretty crispy, I've got some chunks of melted metal, and there was a lot of busted up brick down in here that one of the brothers here said thats what happens to brick when it goes through a fire, the place is a danged mess of metal, but the Pro seems to be able to sniff right on through it..
Mud.
