Spooky grade school finds

I was hunting an elementary school play ground yesterday and found all three of these. The live 9MM round was just under the surface, but the other two were laying in plain view. All to often I find spent bullets and shell casings at local parks but it is not often I find them in elementary school play grounds. This greatly concerns me, how about you? HH Dennis in Idaho

I've found some unbelievable things in tot-lots. Razor blades, a rusty lettuce knife, thumbtacks by the dozen, wires, screws, rusty nails, fishing hooks, 2 live .22 rounds, 8 spent .222 military rounds, 9mm casings....etc. The strangest was a stainless steel boot knife (the kind that has a t-handle and goes between the third and fourth fingers), serrated on one side and real sharp.

The park and school playgrounds here are night-time hangouts for local gang punks and their wannabes, so we find lots of evidence of their presence. I don't think third-graders would be using most of this stuff, but who knows these days!

Hi, I was a State Trooper for 24 years and I know there are schools that are hangouts for bangers and so called wantabes, but schools in my area are becoming more secure since all the school shooting. They are fencing the play grounds and getting more police patrols at night stopping the yahoos from hanging out on school properties after school hours. I find a lot of wierd stuff in the city parks to, I just don't want to see it spread to our schools for the little guys. If I find items such as the ones I posted I report them to the school officals for a headsup. That way they know that I am not just there digging up their playgrounds. You are right, in this day and age you just never know. HH Dennis in Idaho

In Milwaukee last week a 6 year old boy was sexually assaulted by a stranger in the boys room....the 22year old kid that was caught for it the next day was charged with 1st degree sexual assault of a child...how messed up is that....How messed up will this little boy be?
