Spoked/Spider Coil Question

paydirt

New member
Hello, I'm curious why the bottom of the spoked Tesoro coils look unfinished (exposed epoxy),like half of the coil is missing. The donut coils have an enclosed shell that no doubt has epoxy filling as well.

it may be due to the type of epoxy they are using. It appears that it shrinks during the curing process?? There is a type of automotive plastic bumper repair epoxy that is compatible (not all are and may cause problems) that can be used to finish filling in the coils. Hopefully Dave will see this post and "fill" everyone in on the proper type.
