Waded in a little defunct swim area on a local lake using my Minelab Excal II. No great finds but alot of targets and I hope to go back soon as I think I removed alot of the shallower junk targets. Thanks for looking and HH.

Nice Video, looks like your pretty good with that scoop.
Thanks, I would feel like I were better with it if something gold or silver would appear in it!! Found several gold and silver last year, none so far this year, but the season hasn't really even started here yet. I just wanted to get out and break off some of the rust in pinpointing and finding my targets so that when folks start hitting the water I will have that out of the way. Thanks again and HH.

Real Nice Video BH, Glad to see some video hunts with the Excalibur..makes waiting for the summer season here much easier....Seen your post on obn you-tube. I think you have the newer tachyon 2011, your video is super clear. I just gave away my old 09 tachyon to a friend, still have the 2010, would like to go for the one you have but heard the battery life is like 4 hours? But man the picture is perfect. My vid quality still has alot to be desired but it gets like 10 hours per 2 AA's, So I guess I may wait for awhile to see what they come out with next..........BH, Keep those video's coming, always welcome..Great Job.........obn/joe

Thanks, Yeah the battery life is like only 4 hours and the 8gb microsd card fills up before the batteries expire, but the video is clear and other than those 2 complaints I love the camera. I could always get a larger microsd card I suppose but they are pretty pricey so guess I will stick with what I have for now. I love your videos and have seen pretty much all of them, keep them coming. Good luck and HH!!

Not really sure what you are referring to, the scoop is stock from the factory just as I ordered it and I have had it for 2 or 3 years and don't remember where I even got it. It is stainless steel and is awesome, got it from some guy on the Northeast Coast that runs his shop as a second job as I remember. He was super nice and I wish I could remember just to give him some advertisement, thanks for watching my video. HH

BH, Nice weekend coming..let have another video!!

I'm surprised you didn't check the contents of the scoop after you dumped them out (because you still had a signal in the water). You had two coins in one scoop, you could have missed something in the scoopfuls you emptied. Just an observation. Very good video.
