Got out to a nice od site, lots of lead few coins, can anybody give a date range or any info about the spigot?
 
Can't date , but it looks like a barrel tap. The barrels were tipped on rim, drilled with brace and bit and then tap was tapped in with a leather hammer. Not sure if this is what you found but it looks like a barrel tap. The tappered stem is what I am basing this on. Thx 4 sharing,
