I took these a few years back and I've always like the photos. Dislike spiders but like their work.

Very cool , its amazing how a little spider would know how to build something like that . I have walked in to them in the woods while deer hunting and they aren't fun to get off your face . My Hunting buddy use to keep two wooden sticks sticking up on the front of his four wheeler to catch those webs before they hit him . nice pictures

Thanks Kelly, Good hearing from you. I've not taken many pictures the past couple of months. I've been thinking about getting my big girl camera out again soon. Right now the weather is too darn cold to be outside for long. Hope you're doing good.

Hi Harold, Thanks for the compliments. It totally amazes me what those little spiders can do. Your friend has the right idea! Take care!

Amazing that they put that much effort and time into the webs, but then again that is how they eat. :) Great photos, especially with the due giving a clear web to look at.

At one time, I would find a fresh web and chase the spider off the web, spray paint white (the web, not the spider), wait for a few minutes and then comes up from behind it with a board that already had black felt glued to the back of the board and the web would stick to the felt. Put it in a frame and you have what looks like a painting of a spider web but the real thing.

That's interesting Ron. I bet that looked really cool.
