Spent Fathers Day out of town. I hope I was missed a little bit.

There is a story behind this picture. % years ago, I built this 6 compartment Martin box. The Martins moved right in the first year, and tried again after that. The only thing is, the Bluebirds took over, and have been in control ever since. The Bluebirds have about 4 hatches each year, but the Martins still try.

Didn't know they would do that! My mom says the sparrows kicked the blue birds out at her house!

has no rattlesnakes. I asked the landowner and he said the copperheads chased them all out (yoicks).

Where ya from???

I'm from a small town in central PA that's right next to absolutely nowhere (Lock Haven) The town got it's name because there is a Pa Canal lock here on the West Breanch of the Susquehanna river. The logging camps floated the log rafts to here and then sawed them for transport by canal (along with coal, coke, and iron).
Lots of history hereabouts. (and a great place to raise kids). I think we're up to 4 traffic lights now (probably a few more than that, but you get the idea).
