speed of recovery in trash

Well-known member
hi!..all!...was wondering if anyone knows if the new mx-6 has the ability to react faster to targets in dense trash as opposed to the xl pro using the SAME SIZE coils?..for example, the 5.3 sized coil?..it
may be too early to ask this question due to the fact the mx-6 was just introduced recently, and hasn't been used extensively yet?..i was just wondering if anyone has hard data to explain which detector would be faster in such an environment?...coil for coil?

regards!

Yes! The Matrix M6 (not MX-6) has a quicker response and recovery. It is a two-filter design, like the MXT, Quantums and Classic series, whereas the XL Pro's circuitry calls for a somewhat faster sweep and also relies on a longer 'ring time' to process the information.

With the 6
