Does White's still repair these or not?

I know I read somewhere ..a long time ago...one of their units they did not repair because of a lack of replacement boards?

absolutly, they have every part for the xlt so all is good

Not sure on the XLT, but would guess they would. Give them a shout and find out for sure would be the best way though.

Okay, so I am a bit biased with regard to the XLT, but I am a strong believer in making use of the better detectors we have/have had. There have been a few little changes through the years with some parts and function of some features, but for now I am sure they can get your up-and-running. I'd get it to the factory service in Sweet Home Oregon and get 'er done. If you happen to live close enough to the factory to make it a drive there for the repair, that's even better.

Whites is still repairing those old 6000 Di pro from the 80' surely they can repair a detector that was still current in 2010!

Had mine repaired last year by Bob at Centreville Electronics in Manassas, Va.,Region 3 authorized service center. Good work, fast turn around and reasonable price. I would expect the same from White's factory or nay of their authorized service centers.

I have a Sepctrum XLT in good condition. What would be a good asking price?

The e-series seems to bring more money than the rainbow (older version) even though the operation of the two is the same.

One coil, or multi coil package changes the value.

Overall condition plays a major factor in the price.

Including ALL factory packed options and them being in good working order, rechargeable battery pack, charger, double AA holder.

Has it had a recent trip to Whites for tune-ups/inspections.

What I sometimes do is I check in on some of the forums classifieds and fleabay and watch a models I'm interested in sale and keep a little track of what they are bringing.

Season plays a roll in what a detector can bring, early season there is a much more of a market for detector, this time of the year and later and a detector get a little harder to sell unless your willing to let it go really CHEAP!
