Can a v3i be set up in a way that works like a mine lab etrac in 2 tone ferrous?
 
Sure, not only can you have two tones, but you can assign what tones you want to hear. All VDI's can be assigned it's own tone, including no tone.
 
Not only can it be setup like Larry said you can also adjust the recovery speed. Something you can not do on the Etrac other than select the recovery fast on of off option.
 
Is the specific program listed anywhere? If not can you PM it to me?
 
You could just assign a lower tone to -95 to -1 and then 0-+95 a tone like 200. If you need specific instructions let us know as someone on here can surely help you.
