Went on a hunt today for about 3.5 hours found a little over 3$ in clads I've been trying something new and hunting in relic mode and using 6x10 dd The metal has the March of Dimes on it .Randy

I'm trying the same set up, today I went to a spot that I had hunted before without much luck. in 30 min. I found 6 penny's, 4 dimes and a Michael Jordan Returns 1995 coin. It's a little harder to use this mode because I'm use to the coin and jewelery mode I think I'm going to have to memorize the VDI's for the targets. Chuck-AZ:detecting:

My wife and I find that the relic mode has done so much more for us than the coin and jewelry mode. We set it up and just go by the high and low tones and use the VDI numbers to ID along with the bar graph it has on it. The High tones are so much easier to hear and know it is a better target without looking at the meter the low tones we can check them if they sound deeper.
