Speaking of thermal bottoms....Wal-mart has some on clearance

Pete in MI

about 1/2 off - I bought 2 pair and even their thermal socks were on sale so got a few pair of them. Sherry could never keep her feet warm and now they are toasty with the thermal socks I got for her. 2 pair of thermal socks are going for $4.50 a package. The termal under clothes - both tops and bottoms are on clearance. The $17+ price was dropped to $9.00.

If you go to find any they are back in the sporting goods section. With the weather as cold as it is, it is cheaper to bundle up even in the house than to pay higher heating bills for cranking the heat up.

Combined with my waders and the termals I might be able to get some water detecting in earlier than others when the spring thaw gets up here.

I usually don't plug Wal-mart or other businesses but if it saves one of us some money than have to throw caution to the wind.
