Speaking of the 10X12 concentric........

Has anyone tried/used that coil on their Golden umax?------What's the "skinny"--good, bad & ugly with that combo?---------------Del

I have a 12x10 I could slap on the Golden for a run but I pretty much know what to expect having used it on a Cortes, Silver Sabre, and Silver uMax... Quiet, stable, depth. Actually I have never used the stock 9x8 on the Golden either. Upon assembly I stuck the CSC on there and never took it off. If you are looking for a couple or few inches it was the only option and the 12x10 pinpoints very well. But now with the big aftermarket EXcelerator coils, why not get the 15x12 and party DOWN. Way DOWN!

Del, I haven't used mine on my Golden, but I have used it on my Eldorado, I use it only at the beach, and it does give extra depth over the 9x8 (dont ask me how much extra, because I can say, but I can say it does go deeper). I haven't used it in parks etc because I prefer smaller coils in those types of places. It is heavier, and my poor little old arm really feels the difference after a while, but, at the beach, the extra depth and the extra coverage probably make it worthwhile. I also have the 8" dd coil, and it gets very good depth at saltwater beach, but it is heavier than the 9x8 too.

Thanks guys----I have used that coil on my Silver & it really helped (depth wise).-----Just got to wondering how it would work on the Golden.---------Del
