43rd anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
Where were you on that day?
I was sitting at a bus stop at 3rd and Main Streets in Dayton, Ohio on my way to work at the Children's Psychatric Hospital. I heard the news on my new-fangled Sony transistor radio... I was 18 years old... and thought the Russians would find that to be an ideal time to launch a pre-emptive strike. Thank God that didn't happen. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

To my Sonar C.B. Radio and I heard it from someone in Dallas Texas by way of Skip--I came out and told my Mother And Father that it would be announced on Television--Sure enough about 2 Min. later they broke in to tell every one of the Shooting--That was a little unusual to know BEFORE any 1 else in the Portland area knew about it!
