Just a heads up, Flea Bay has spare battery holders ( packs of two ) for like nine beans. Also replacement plastic bolts that hold the coil on for dirt cheap also. Got me some spares. Would hate to see a simple failure ruin the day. Load the battery holder up with fresh batteries and put it in coin bag for a quick change. No affiliation what so ever with seller. But they shipped promptly

Spare Battery Holder Packs

Some of the other common electronic stores also carry those battery holders.
You need to check those battery holders. The At holders are a little thicker and longer than the standard Garrett holders. We had a customer point this out, his unit kept turning off and on when he swung the detector quickly.We replaced the holder with the correct one, and the problem went away. The older style holders wobble a little bit inside the box.

I order mine from MCM Electronics, last I got were less than 50 cents apiece, but you have to order a good many of them, which is actually a good idea.
